  • How does history impact literature and vice versa?
  • Who is shakespeare and why is he important?
Bell Ringer
  • Define the following terms and explain their place in formal essays: colloquialism; emoticons; slang; contractions; plagiarism; and deadlines
Activities:
  • Reminder: 2 tests this Friday
    • The open notes history test over pages 286-303
    • Vocabulary 1 with vocabulary homework
  • Go over all aspects of the bell ringer as remediation for issues with previous papers
  • Break students into 7 groups. Each group presented one or two pages orally to the class to give background preparation for reading Macbeth. The pages covered were 292-293 and 332-339.
    • Students who were absent for this activity will have to do and turn in notes on all these pages for a make up grade.
