Activities:

- Class activity/assignment
- Student are to break up into their reading groups.
- Students are to get computers and do an informal research to find examples of differences between old English and modern English, or how English came into being, or how we've transitioned from old to modern, or anything related or inclusive
- Groups share what they find with the class.
- Prewrite
- The final chance prewrite was taken up at the very beginning of class, graded and returned.
- The prewrite is to be kept in section 5 of the notebook and brought to class every day. It is part of the ongoing process for the current writing project
- Reminder
- Vocab test 2 is Friday, 10/5. Vocabulary homework is required.
