  1. Post and go over exam study guide
  2. Reminders, Q & A regarding all due dates and deadlines
  3. Spend the class period working on completing all Frankenstein and Macbeth assignments. Frankenstein requires an AR test and 12 to 15 journals. Macbeth requires all margin and end questions for all acts and the cause and effect paper.
  4. I will spend the class period assisting students individually.

English 4: 12/9,10/09

  1. Frankenstein final deadline 12/15/09. All work not completed in class must be completed as homework.
  2. Macbeth: finish reading the play
  3. Model the 4 D's of writing preparation for the cause and effect paper. Answer all questions related to the assignment. Deadline is 12/15/09.
  4. Class time to work on all projects.
  5. Warning: Students who have not completed the Frankenstein journals and test and the Macbeth cause and effect essay (4 D's, first draft, final edited copy) will loose any exam exemption they may have had.
  6. Students must make sure they have the following handouts in their notebook for the semester exam: A. Unit 1 and 2 vocabulary; B. Frankenstein vocabulary; C. punctuation; D. capitalization; E. word parts; F. 5 stages of writing and prewriting; G. Figures of speech; H. poetry/literary terms; I. Singular/plurals

Drama: 12/8/09

  1. Complete all improvisation projects.
  2. Begin videotaping storytelling projects
  3. Work on Chapters 5/20. Go over and fully develop project requirements and give time to work.
  4. Students who took an active role in the "Our Time Capsule" performance from beginning to end will be excused from the semester exam. Their extra curricular work which required 2 months of 3 nights a week, 3 hours a night rehearsals will cover as their exam.

English 4: 12/7,8/09

  1. Reminder: do Frankenstein every available moment. Final deadline for test and journals is 12/15/09.
  2. Read Macbeth. Complete acts 2, 3, and possibly 4.
  3. Assign margin and end questions for homework.
  4. Take up Frankenstein vocabulary puzzle for lesson 2
  5. Take up work as students complete it.
  6. Answer Q & A regarding parts of a sentence and cause & effect essay.

Drama: 12/4/09

  1. All students who bring proof of attending the sesquicentennial play at the Performing Arts Center tonight, tomorrow night, or Sunday will get 25 points extra credit added in their grades where they need it most.
  2. Continue presenting improvisation projects for grade
  3. Continue with class evaluations
  4. Assign next chapter and next chapter projects. Give time to work if any available.

English 4: 12/3,4/09

  1. 20/30 minutes to prepare and finish homework.
  2. Test on Macbeth Act 1.
  3. Take up all Macbeth Act 1 margin and end questions
  4. Take up Franken Voc 2 puzzle homework
  5. Reminders of due dates for essay, Macbeth, and Frankenstein (12/15/09)
  6. Q & A regarding all projects and Parts of Sentence
