- Monday/Tuesday: take up vocabulary 5 homework and give vocabulary 5 test
- Monday/Tuesday: last days to turn in cause and effect project for full credit. It will be 20% off on Wednesday, 30% off on Thursday, 40% off on Friday which will also be the last day to turn it in for any points at all.
- All week: Read Macbeth which will be covered on the semester exam. Students are encouraged to take notes that will help them on the exam.
- Reminders to prepare for the semester exam by putting their notebook in order, finding all their work, and related. Notebooks can be used on the exam.
- Reminders that Sparknotes.com is a good place to go to study for various literature pieces like Beowulf, The Hobbit, and Macbeth
- Exam exemptions are notified, and the current failure list has been sent to the office.

- Go over semester choices from class discussion and prepared sheet.
- Create contract with each student as to what he/she will do for the exam
- Schedule performance exams based on first come first serve
- Clean up and complete all make up work or performances
- Research historical character and prep for exam

English 4 and 4H: 12/2/11
- Get computers and finish project with all assistance needed
- Due to extra time given, Tuesday is the last chance to turn in the project for full credit. Wednesday, 20% will be taken from the final grade. More will be taken each day until Friday. After Friday, no projects can be turned in for any reason.
- Today is the last class day to work on the project. If you need additional time, it will have to be before or after school.
- Beginning Monday, we will read the rest of Macbeth. Students will be required to take notes on the reading. All of Macbeth will be on the semester exam.

English 4 & 4H: 11/30 to 12/1/11
- Get computers and log on.
- Joiner explain expectation of final paper again with Q and A.
- Deadline for paper delayed until 12/5 & 6, but no later. This gives one more weekend.
- Handouts: Capitalization and Punctuation sheets. Go over briefly and explain their value and use.
- Went over rubric for grading the parts of the project. Clearly defined all expectations and ways to accomplish the goal in a winning fashion.
- Students reminded of major issues that cause grade troubles.
- Students given at least an hour to work on the project.
- We will work on the project again on Friday
Drama: 11/30/11
- Continue to press make up work
- Continue completion of dramatic reading
- Work on completing Chapters 5 & 6 presentations
- Remind L1's of their chapters 9 and 10 assignment
- Assign twin question essay due Wednesday has been delayed until Friday: A. How are we going to deal with semester exams; B. How are we going to deal with history character; both questions deal with the time constraints between now and semester end.
- Discuss importance and requirements for Olustee. All will participate at one level or another. Include the possibilities as to how this assignment can be a part of the semester exam.
- Explain Ms. Wilks semester exam as one of the choices they will consider.
