• How do Playwrights, directors, producers, and cast work to create and complete a production?

Activities:

• Students are to read and take notes on chapters 13-15 covering playwrights, producers, directors, and cast, their duties and their contribution to the production process.
• Students will be given an open notes test on 11/2/12 regarding the three chapters.
• On the day of the test, students will have to turn in their notes for a grade.
• Students are given a handout explaining the details for an ongoing PowerPoint project.
• Students are to create a PowerPoint project with a section for each chapter: 13, 14, and 15.
• For each section, students are given a series of mini research items to include in their slide show
• Each section has a minimum of 4 parts, and each the parts has multiple requirements.
• This project will be ongoing for a while, but will be completed by the end of the grading period.
• All 9 weeks grades were posted and explained.
• Particular notice was given to the number of assignments that were missed and not made up.
