*What is required to set up all stages of a production and fulfill all production requirements?
Agenda:
1. Bell Ringer
a. A team will perform their pantomime
b. As the pantomimes are completed, students will do an improv on facial acting, staying in character, or something related to the current play
c. The class will write a responsive journal
2. Students will work on character constructs, developing models and examples, by teams
a. Students will write up journals about the activities
3. Students will create a set design by teams
4. Focus on research for history project
a. Set a day for a follow up check for a grade
b. Make sure all requirements are clear and understandable
- Topic choice with brief explanation
- Time, date, work log to be maintained for every time you work on the project
- Maintain a complete list of websites and resources
- Summary and notes of all information gathered, sufficient for report
- Must find and maintain quotes, speeches, and any other performable materials.
5. When time, show "Maltese Falcon" or "Casablanca" to strengthen students performance in the current play in which Sam Club is a mock up of Humphrey Bogart, and the play itself is set as a parody of the "Maltese Falcon."
6. Mr. Frank will come on every day he is available to set up auditions and rehearsals. Time is getting short.
