* What must go into a pantomime to develop a full character or story?
Agenda
1. Bell Ringer: Limit to 15/20 minutes
a. Work on Pantomime assignment. Pantomimes begin next class
b. Discuss quality, character and story development
2. Take up the assigned observation journal for homework
a. Plus all make up work
b. Plus all work which hasn't been turned in
3. Journal rubric handout with discussion
4. Complete scripts with discussions
a. How do we deal with all the innuendos jokes
b. all to take production notes
-props by page #
-set pieces by page #
-characters with characteristics notes
-notes of questions, problems, positives, and anything else which will help with evaluation
5. As soon as we complete the reading: begin assessment of the different plays
a. Evaluate the story arc
b. Begin to problem solve the inappropriate material
c. Consider audience issues: inappropriate materials, understanding the old jokes, etc.
6. Students will be broken into teams, each with a different script
a. Each team will work on rewriting their own script, analyzing corrections needed
