* What must go into a pantomime to develop a full character or story?
Agenda
1. Bell Ringer: Limit to 15/20 minutes
a. Set up pantomime teams and require a 3 to 5 minute pantomime
b. Only one team will present per day
c. The pantomime must show the story and/or character arc
c. All write a responsive journal
2. Take up the assigned observation journal for homework
3. Journal rubric handout with discussion
4. Complete scripts with discussions
a. How do we deal with all the innuendos jokes
5. Continue read scripts project
a. all to take project notes on
-props by page #
-set pieces by page #
-characters with characteristics notes
-notes of questions, problems, positives, and anything else which will help with evaluation
6. Readings will continue until all scripts are read, with notes.
7. As soon as we complete the reading: begin assessment of the different plays
a. Evaluate the story arc
b. Begin to problem solve the inappropriate material
c. Consider audience issues: inappropriate materials, understanding the old jokes, etc.
8. Students will be broken into teams, each with a different script
a. Each team will work on rewriting their own script, analyzing corrections needed
