English 4 & 4H: 9/16/11

1. Students are to use any time available at the beginning of the period to make up and catch up on the three projects (especially Hobbit assignments) from last class.


2. Class read The Hobbit from page 68 to 80? For this segment of the reading, students are to pick one character and compare/contrast the character with someone they currently know. They are to continue working on the timeline


3. Placed on the board: Read pages 266 to 272 in the literature book for information. The official assignment will be given next week and due October 7th.


4. Reminders that workbook pages 7, 8, 9B and the Hobbit assignments will be checked Monday and Tuesday during the Thinkgate testing.
