English 4 & 4 H: 9/19,20/11

1. Grades are published at the back of the room. Students have until Friday, 9/23 at the end of the day, to complete and make up all zeros. They become permanent at the end of the day.


2. Students are required to turn in the 7 Hobbit assignments that have been assigned during the readings of the book in class. The list of assignments have been posted in the room for a week with the reminder of the required date to turn the work in.


3. Students will spend the majority to all of the class working on the Thinkgate test.


4. As soon as students complete the Thinkgate test, they may spend their time A. completing workbook pages, B. completing make up work, C. completing and turning in Hobbit assignments, and D. completing their literature note taking assignment.


5. Friday, students will take the test on pages 19 through 35 in their literature book. Students were assigned to read, study, and take notes on the pages. They will be allowed to use the notes on the test and be required to turn the notes in after the test. Notes must be in their own handwriting to be used.


6. Students need to be prepared as of 9/26 for thir next vocabulary test, "scribe" to "monarchy." Vocabulary homework will be required on the day of the test and not taken after the test.


7. Workbook pages 7, 8, and 9B will be checked and graded next class.
