• CYA 7 with all related notes and minilessons
• Do reading log 2 on board for The Wave as example and explanation (students can copy)
• Go over, in detail all expectations and requirements (again) for AR tests and logs. We are in the last two weeks of class and all must be done almost immediately.
• Go over in detail (again) the 4 D's of writing preparation and perform a model on the overhead. This is the last EOL assignment that is still possible to turn in before we go to the draft of the reflection essay, but it must be complete by next class.
• Students reminded that the short story/novel terms list given to them several weeks ago with the assignment to look up all the terms is now on the list of "can be covered on any test from now on."
• Students can take the AR test any time either one of the white class computers is available. The AR tests need to be completed as soon as possible.
• Students were give a large block of work time during class.
