• Give students a few moments to work on homework that is due
• Review for vocabulary test
• Give vocabulary and notebook 5 tests
• Give vocabulary lesson 6 words and assign homework: homework changes so that students can substitute a pictograph for the three derivations any time they want
• Take up lesson 5 vocabulary homework
• Take up Show-Not-Tells 9 - 12
• Take up EOL homework pages 54-60 (Your Turn 1 and story questions)
• Take up/last call for 1. Dutchman's Flat homework and 2. Literature class work pages 4 - 11, margin and end questions
• Assign EOL pages 60-62. Take notes to keep in notebook. Do Your Turn 2 to turn in.
• Assign (if time) literature book pages 14-18 do all margin and end questions to turn in
