• SNT 8: The story was about a terrible conflict
• CYA 8 with related notes and mini-lessons
• The Wave and related reading logs is overdue to be finished, including the test
• The second AR book with reading logs and test must be complete by next Friday, October 10th.
• Did a complete model of the 4 D's of writing preparation in class. Students must have this turned in with their rough draft -- due October 7 or 8 depending on the class
• The rough draft is Your Turn 5, page 38 in EOL. There are two models of the essay on pages 39-41 so the students will understand what the essay looks like.
• Each student must bring their AR book to me so I can add it to my list. Any test on any book not on my list will not count for a grade.
• Students must have completed finding definitions for the terms on the "Novel/Short Story Terms" handout by next class. Questions on the notebook test will come from the list.
• Students were given half the class or more to work on assignments with teacher assistance as needed.
