- BR: Students are to get a book, and turn to page 266 - 272 and create a list of questions about the compare contrast assignment.
- We had a long discussion in which the teacher pushed and answered questions that students could copy for their bell ringer.
- Through the process of 1 and 2 above, each class went through the entire process for the process-writing assignment (compare/contrast essay).
- Handout: Students were given a handout of the 4D's of writing preparation and explained how this process works
- Students were give their choice of using the book's writing process or the 4D's. They were also given their choice of prompt 1 or 2
- We read the Hobbit, pages 90 - appx 105. Assigned identify a problem and how the group resolved it. Students are to continue keeping the event timeline/log
