- BR: Handout on following directions. Do both sides. Be ready to discuss your opinion as to why this exercise is given the first class day after completion of project grading.
- Check workbooks and post corrections on the overhead for students to correct their work.
- Hand out projects. Go over project grades and grading processes.
- Assignment: Students are to create a project evaluation pair of lists. They are to list 1. all comments I made on their essay, and 2. all areas where they lost points on the assignment (student may use the published grade process to determine where they lost points).
- Students will keep the "project evaluation" as a worksheet for what they need to improve.
- All projects will be turned back in. I will keep a notebook of projects for each class. Each grading period, students will have a process writing project. Each final, graded project will be put in the notebook, so the student and I can monitor their progress over time.
Honors: Write a short essay (one or two paragraphs), giving a personal plan to overcome any shortcomings that became evident in the last project (refer to item 4 above).
