1/28/09 Drama

• Primary focus for the day is to go over all possible Merchant of Venice presentations and have each student select/assigned one. Students are to memorize their part, be prepared to perform their part in character, and create/have any props necessary for their scene. Additionally students may consider costume and makeup. This is for all levels.
• Secondary focus is the nearly complete lack of Chapter 7 projects that we spent so much time on in class. Students must find a way to complete and make up this work on their own because the computers are no longer available to us. Midterm grades will be bad because of this. Students were to both create and record the voice they made and give a brief description of the character with the written report regarding the 7 parts of voice creation.
• Spend the rest of class time on the two above projects along with the current chapter projects.
