- CYA 18 with all related notes and mini-lessons
- Elements of Language, Chapter 5 beginning page 166. Read and take notes on all bold print, listed, and chart information to keep. Do Your Turn 1 and all the questions on the example story.
- Open the literature book to page 56. Read and answer all margin and end questions for the first 1 to 3 poems. Go as far as class time allows
- Have students copy Poetry Poster project instructions and assign the project due by midterm grade time.
