• Go to library for AR books. Went over requirements for AR for the grading period. Recorded books on the list and reminded students that books only count if they are on the list.
  
• Discussion: EOL chapter 4. Generalizations must be clear and reasonable use of credible facts and information. Gave example of the uniform prank and the misuse of logic and facts.
• Laptops: Explained again the 4 D's of writing as applied to current problem solution essay. Gave computers to 1. Do 10 telling sentence corrections and turn in; 2. Continue working on the 4 d's and rough draft; and 3. Do CYA 18 if time.
• Reminders: Vocabulary and notebook tests 9 are next class.
