Drama: 4/5/11


  1. Students watched to videos about the work of a Foley (sound effects) artist

  2. Discussion of sound effects and its impact on radio and movie productions

  3. Assignment: Each student is to do a 500 to 1000 word informal research on a Foley artist or Sound Effects artistry

  4. Assignment: Students were give the rest of the period to search the website (www.simplyscripts.com/ratio.html) to find a script the class can agree to perform.

  5. Students will be given a script and be required to evaluate it for all sound effects necessary.

  6. Students will be required to create a Foley chart plan for the production, and each student will be required to make one manual sound effect for the production
