- Opening reminders: dress code, get your reading materials for ISR, have class materials ready.
- Q and A left overs from last class
- Give parts of speech pretest, grade, give back and go over -- where's the problem. For most it was the vocabulary like "interrogative."
- Bellringer: esay on "Who are you academically and what do you believe about yourself in school?" Followed by discussion.
- Class discussion: all about working in groups, what works and what doesn't and why
- Groups projects: Handout vocabulary list for Unit 1. Students will come up with a plan, or I will. Spent the rest of class working on the project. This process will continue into presentations next class.
- Took up the bell ringer and the group work to point.
