1. Handout syllabus and go over in complete detail.
2. Introduce self and Ms. Wilks
3. Give hat and materials assignment
4. With Ms. Wilks go over the public performances and related work ethic
5. Introduction to hat project with slide show and quick intro to Celtx
6. Class assignment 5X5X5. Each student is to meet five others in class. For each they are to find at least one similarity and one dissimilarity. For one of the five, they are to find five similarities and five dissimilarities.
7. Brainstorm what to ask someone you are meeting.
8. Be prepared that introducing each other comes next.
