English 4 CP: 4/14 through 17/18

Activities:

• FCAT week interruptions
• Seniors were out of school Tuesday and Wednesday due to FCAT
• Some seniors took Monday and Thursday, which were important work days.
• Friday is a school holiday
• New Project: Microsoft Word
• Students were given a new handout called "Principle of Design"
• The handout is a survey of most of what the program "Word" has to offer.
• They will have to do many different things that will verify that they know their way around the program and how to access much of the program's capabilities.
• The teacher modeled how to do various items and sample problems they will encounter.
• Covered were items
• 1 A and B
• 2 A
• 3 A.i
• 6
• Students were given the lion's share of the class period to work and complete the project.
• The project should take 3 class days to complete. Now, 1 day has been provided.
• Those not attending are now one day behind and must find a way to catch it up.
• Students are allowed to help each other, but each student must turn in their own original work. No plagiarism.
