English 4 & 4H: 1/30,31/12

1. Explain: all grades are completed and posted for midterms. Work can be made up but will not be added in time to come out in midterms. Issues with long overdue make up work.



2. Students are given 45 minutes or more to complete the following: A. Make up work; B. Print ad assignments; C. "Rape of the Lock" (ROTL) questions; D. Gulliver's Travels questions; E. Vocabulary homework; F. Study for coming tests.



3. Gulliver's Travels questions are due today



4. ROTL questions are due next class (2/1,2/12)



5. Vocabulary test 3 is next class and homework will be due then



6. ROTL test is next class and questions are due



7. Students are to copy the 13 items that will be the basis of the writing assignment grade (rubric) and keep it in their project folder in the back of the room.



8. Students will do a joint brainstorm for persuasive writing topics.
