Drama: 5/2/11

  1. Students did a thorough discussion of the recent play of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Discussion included the importance of improv, staying in character, costumes, sets, props, and more

  2. The class created a composite Foley plan by going through the entire play and identifying, from everyone's suggestions, what sounds were needed where.

  3. A master list of the composite was created and copied for all students.

  4. The next phase will be to identify which recorded sounds are already available, which recorded sounds need to be adapted, and which sounds need to be manually created.
