• Grab The Wave and read hard and fast! Everyone should be to page 50 at the very least.
• SNT 4: The character was funny. Remember 5 to 15 sentences and very descriptive
• CYA 4 with related notes and mini-lessons. Don't forget to define underlined words
• Take up Your Turn 1 and questions from EOL pages 17-21 for grades
• Give notes on the 4D's of writing preparation (this powerpoint is on the webpage)
• Model the 4 D's in class on new software: Inspiration
• Homework: assign: EOL pages 21-37; Your turns 2, 3, 4 (Your Turn 4 is the same as the 4 D's for their writing project). Take notes on the pages assigned. Keep the notes separate from the turn in work. Notes will remain in the student notebook, section 4. Your Turns 2-4 will be turned in for a grade.
